Someone had a blog about this and I wanted help and information,, I want to unjoin with zero replies it is embarrassing. I think I need to join a beginners group with generous mentors.
I have never actually painted a ACEO and just wanted some pointers. From the looks of the questions, nobody answers. I thought these were more like blogs and were eraseable. lol. I will have to paint one and try to sell one, otherwise, I have no business in this group.
What kind of questions do you have? As far as ACEO's, anything goes so long as it's 2.5 x 3.5" (the size of a standard trading card. Any medium can be used, you can do individual pieces or create a series of pieces...it's all up to you. I'm not quite sure what kind of questions you have but hopefully this will help some. I'm still waiting on an answer on how to go about selling oils...how long do you have to wait before it's safe to ship and sell? Every once and awhile you'll get an answer on here but it's not really popular..You may want to try to find a forum online.
Maybe this clarification will help: Neighborhood and Group are different. (This was not intuitive to me at first.) You can join a Neighborhood without joining a Group. The "neighborhood" is quiet, but threads in the ACEO ~ Art Cards Editions and Originals group seem very active to me; a great place for questions. If you do join the Group, you will have access to a lot of great information, links, contests, e-mail updates and (from my observations) friendly, helpful mentors.
