Right on thanks, I would go with gas but iv herd it hurts like hell thuo. I dont mind a lil pain in the wargames but so fare I got 2 AEG hand guns 1 at 240fps and the other at 330fps and thar sweet.
electric guns (AEG), are better then spring guns in construction, durability, and power... if you know what brands to get. Echo 1, JG are good for there prices. then you have the higher priced guns like classic army and tokyo marui which are good if your into upgrade your guns and know what your doing. VFC also is a good brand but is high priced. there also the most realistic when it comes to materials and weight of the gun. another thing you want to look for is the type of thing your going to be doing most (room clearing, sniping, support etc.) if your doing room clearing, you want a shorter barreled gun like an MP5 so you can easily move from room to room. if your going to be a support gunner, an M249 saw or an M60 would be the better choice due to rate of fire and ammo, all tho those guns are usually between $400- $1100. then you could get an M16 DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) or M14. what ever suits your preference.
Please do not get confused with what my friend above me is saying, there are blenty of hybrids out there. such as the M14, it is used for sniping due to the long barrell and FPS it puts out however when u are being rushed i can flip a switch and mow the guy down, there are certain guns that acn do certain jobs the best, however other jobs can do the same job and others though maybe not as well (I use a G&G socom 16, a Shortened version of the M14) the same can be applied to guns such as the AK, M4 and G3...
Please critique i would love to learn as much as possible so i do not confuse or give wrong info.
i like AEGs,but if you prefer GAS thats KooL too, there are some springs that have a high FPS, there are pros and cons with both gas and electric guns, you have to keep a supply of gas or batteries on you, but lots of fun either way,and now some guns have the blowback feature!!
