JUST RECENTLY BECAME THE PROUD PARENTS OF THE "OCEAN BREEZE" VERY NEW WITH THIS BABY CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE CONNECTION BETWEEN AN AIRSTREAM & FLAMINGOS .WE'VE SURROUNDED OURSELVES WITH FLAMINGOS --LIKE GLASSES,PLATES,PJS,FLIP-FLOPS,BOWLS. I'M NOT GETTING IT ,EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE, WE TALK TO SAYS "YOU KNOW IT'S VINTAGE & STARTED IN FLORIDA" & THEN ,THEY CAN SAY NO MORE. CAN SOMEBODY ENLIGHTEN ME ABOUT THIS CONNECTION? THANKS . MISHTI23
I think it started with Airstreams way back in the 60's or so. I know it has spread out to the other "Streamlined" trailer brands. We have a 1972 Silver Streak 26' Cont. Atlas. We have attended a number of Vintage Trailer Rallys and see the Flamingo motif often. Airstreams, Silver Streaks, Streamlines and Agrosy trailers seem to be the most "afflicted". LOL
