Hi, Welcome to the Airstream family! My husband and I are new, too, as we just recently purchased a 1966 30' Sovereign. We found it on CraigsList for $4500. It is in good condition - needs TLC, but really not much - mostly just preferences: it's painted on the inside and I like wood. The bathroom is usable, but we'd like a bigger shower area. You can find good deals, ESP if you don't mind redoing the insides. We looked at one that had been used as a hunting lodge/blind - complete with hounds - and one that had been someone's extended home. They were both usable, but needed work for us to be in for any extended time. We don't have the time, right now, to take on such a project, but the price was good!
