I have had my FT60 for about a month and the other night the sound went out The screen still has the correct frequencies that I want on , The Lil green light goes on when there is conversation on the channel the voice bars on the screen go from 0 to 6/7 but there is no sound ,not even the little beep when the radio is first turned on ... I'm in EMS and I'm hoping that one or more of the buttons were taped while on my belt clip in the rig by the arm rest Any suggestions
try resetting the cpu to factory settings it is in the manual had to do it to mine but you will loose memorys also plug in an external speaker and see if you get sound perhaps the speaker wire came loose inside.
