Me personaly i don't think its a waste of money, but i am not saying it is a investment neither. I started collecting figurines 3 mouths ago. I have three figurines, a 10cm mikuru bunny(bandai), a 1/8 haruhi bunny(bandai), and a 1/8 Tsuruya maid(alter). Soon i am getting a new one, a 38cm Jungle Emmy Combat version(kaiyodo).
