I have been given a small antique sewing machine the only marks is the name Cinderella on the head and lots of gold and red and pink scrolls and flowere on the head and base. NO case just the head. There is a plate on the base with SPECIAL QUALITY Made in Japan. No other numbers or anything. If anyone has ever heard of one please inlightin me. I have looked every where. It is 10" by 12" and all metal.
It sound like a machine I had as a child and have been wanting to replace since everything was lost to Katrina. We had 12 ft of water and many items were never found. If you may be interested in selling it please let me know. Just a sentimental item I would love to have again.
I also have this Cinderella sewing machine and just recently restored it to working order. Does anyone have info on this or know how much it is worth. Mine is in excellent condition. Any help would be so appreciated.
I was just given this sewing machine to find information about it. I can't. This gentleman has a price of 295.00 but I know he will take a little less. The machine head is in a blue case but the case is not in the best of conditions. Did you ever find anything about this machine- YEAR, MAKE or Origin of history? I am searching information. THANKS
I also have a Cinderella sewing machine. They are very similiar to a Singer. They were made as a cheaper alternative. My mother bought one in Venezuela in the 60's. she used it for her business. I have it now and it does not really work smoothly but I keep it for sentimental reasons. I have the original instruction booklet it came with as well as some other stuff I found online to help me restore it. I will share those pages if you are interested. Mine has a cabinet with drawers, unfortunately someone has cut some of the drawers in the past. It passed through a few owners before it came home to me.
