Hi: I've been getting into serious selling in the past two months. I wanted to get some feedback on what you do with your items you do not sell? Do you relist immediately or shelf that item for awhile and list it again at another time? I've got two old Pennsylvania railroad manuals listed for sale for the second time (I had three but sold one the first time around). Anyway, I'm getting frustrated with them as I only had 3 views on each. I do research similar items that have sold and list my stuff in the same categories.....anyway, any advice you can give on how you handle your items that didn't sell would be greatly appreciated! Marcy
That is the magical question. I have waited and had the same luck. The secrets are still hidden. If you find out let me know. Could be a numbers game the more sales you have the more established you are. Hence, more sales on the same thing. Keep involved it will happen. It does not cost anything to relist. After one like yours sells might be a good time to relist. Good Luck and happy selling.
I just got started again on Ebay and I'm using auto-relist feture.Till I do well I have no real advise but hope this works for me.I am adding inventory so all I have is time to kill.I figure as time goes so will my items, lol, as we all wish!! Here's to ya ,,,may everything you have SELL!!!!
There is no magic formula on relisting . what has worked for me is I just wait a couple weeks and then I relist . what you and every seller is dealing with is when is the buyer for your item going to be on ebay. But if I feel the cost is more than the return then I just donate it. Because after all the bottom line is money. Also when you relist try different key (describing) word for the search engine. this is how I do hope it helps
