MY 13INCH MACBOOK CD ROM IS DAMAGED! AND I CANT TAKE IT TO A APPLE STORE THOUGH IT HAS WARRANTY TILL JUNE 2008 CUZ I BROUGHT IT ON THE STREET. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT I CAN DO? PLEASE HELP LOL...APPLES ARE GUD COMP BUT BAD TO REPAIR DATS THE BAD SIDE OF IT!!
I use this site for all my upgrading of Macs. I've upgraded just about every limb, organ, joint, and gland on my 1GHz Powerbook. Never had a problem. The installation is pretty straitforward. Just need a couple basic tools and a little common sense.

If you need to reinstall the Mac OS, I would say the best thing you can do is buy Leopard. You will lose iLife. Or you maybe able to get a replacement disk from apple.
