i want to buy a macbook for school. it has to have 120 gb hard drive. but i can only spend around $300. i can never win an auction. i always get outbid buy other people

You'll have to spend the right kind of money in order for you to have a machine not just for school but as a future investment till you can afford something on a higher scale. You'll need more than $300 to get a decent laptop. Check out this one. It's more than $300, but the price is within reach for what you need it for.
