I use to be a PC user, but with my last job I had no choice but to convert to the MAC platform. I am so thankful that I got introduced to the Apple family! There is soooo much to write about on what makes the Apple computer sooooo great, but for myself I like the multimedia software/programs only MAC has. iLife is such an awesome software and so user-friendly that my previous students learned in a heartbeat. Kudos Apple and continue on with all that you do!
Apple computers are more versatile. I have a MacBook Pro with 4 operating systems; Mac OS X 10.5, Ubuntu 8.04, Windows Vista Business Edition, and Windows XP installed on Mac with Virtual Box. The Mac OS X is my favorite by far. I find that when I use windows I am always looking for a program to download and I just don't have that with Mac, it usually has what I want.
HI! I LOVE my MACBOOK PRO!!! It is my first experience with MAC and I have to agree with what everyone else said out here......IT ROCKS! I am not the type to RELEARN NEW TRICKS, but, but with MAC they are so "DUH"! It is so much more common sense once you get used to it! I have NO POPUPS every 5 seconds...that alone is worth it! No VIRUSES-how cool is that! And, so VERSATILE! The only thing I wish is that they would make their stores BIGGER! WHAT A MAD HOUSE! Every time you go in it is like GRAND CENTRAL-so far though, that is my only complaint. :)
