They offered him a huge deal in Spring Training that he and his agent turned down so they did the right thing and got a little talent back for him instead of just getting the lowsy 2 draft picks as compensation.
They offered Tex somewhere in th neighborhood of 8 years at $190 million and he and his agent turned them down they had no choice but to trade him......doesn't make me any happier but i do understand and agree with the move.
