Do you go out less?
Do you use coupons more?
What's your way of cutting costs?

I have three kids 3 and under so I know about your dilemma...I don't use coupons so much, but if your budget is that tight, maybe do that. Also I only buy things that are on sale at the store, and only the things that I can afford, not everything I want...formula checks are good, if you're using formula. Diapers, I buy the cheapo brand because they still work...not every diaper will always stay leak free no matter what brand, and to save 10 bucks a package, I buy whatever the house brand is.
My husband and I went to marriage counseling and they said to set a budget, and stick to it. But they also said that you HAVE to budget fun. Whether it's 10 bucks or 30 bucks a month, budget some fun once in a while. Hope this helps!

Because of the price of propane (I live in California), I found its actually cheaper if I do my laundry at the laundamat. I also don't splurge on the expensive diapers and I also research costs of items on the internet before going to the store. In order to indulge on my shopping habit I go to Grarage sales and Thrift stores.

When my daughter was little I used cloth diaper and started washing in cold water. We also basically quit going out and stopped spending money on unnecessary items (cloths, cable TV, nick nacks). Its hard, kids are expensive, but if you just give up a few things it doesn't hurt so much. They are worth it.
