I read in one of my baseball card plus guides that the Beckett Baseball Card Price Guides have complete checklists and pricing for every important baseball card set from 1909 to present... Are they actually listing every card in the checklist??? If so, then im gonna buy one. But I just wanted to know if anyone else has one... Let me know, thanks

Useful Funny
there is 2 standard Becketts to use
1, the by monthly Beckett
2, the Almanac yearly by Beckett
the complete listings would be found in the Almanac
its hard to refer all cards to the by monthley because the by monthly Beckett only can list the hot stuff and the top cards and brands of all the years..mike

i guess what im hoping to find is a book that has the complete checklist for like the 1911 T205 cards, and the 40's 50's 60's and 70' major sets. Is there such a thing???

Your best bet is to subscribe to the online Beckett baseball price guide which lists every set thinkable..lots more than just the almanac. You can download each checklist then paste and copy to your heart's content..much cheaper to do it this way

They don't list every card. Check another publication- Tuff Stuff.

You can go to Beckett.com

Just put in the year and make of the set you are looking to see for complete checklist and you can see the entire list. I do this for sets I am working to complete.. Just mark them if I need them and as I get them, I check them off. Hope this helps..

I just bought the 2008 guides for baseball football and basketball, and was disappointed. I could only find about half the cards - maybe 2/3 of the cards I have. I know some of the brands are owned by the same company so I would look up both - such as Fleer & SkyBox. Some cards just have one or the other, but some years have both. Like I said, not all of the cards I looked up were even in the book....
