HOW ABOUT A BIG BEATLES FAN PARTY SOMEWHERE SOMEHOW?

I always thought it would be a great idea for a whole lot of real Beatles fans to get together for a BIG party...after all, in some ways we all think alike. There was a Beatles convention in Toronto 2 years ago where they had the bass drum from the Ed Sullivan show, John's glasses, Paul's jacket from the Help movie etc. It was great, but I thought it would have been better if there was a big costumed dance at the end...Imagine all the Sgt Peppers and Patty Boyds running around and dancing to Strawberry Fields, lol. Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this thought, or if I'm stuck alone in my part of the tree.

Well I think it would be a great idea... And a lot of fun... everyone in my family are all huge Beatles fans and I know they would think it was a good idea also. I love The Beatles and go to all the Beatles functions I can go to, why not that one!?

WE CAN HAVE IT AT MY HOUSE!!!! I GOT THE ALBUMS IF SOMEONE HAS THE SINGLES! ALSO I PLAY GUITAR AND SING BEATLES SONGS AND I AM SURE THEIR ARE OTHERS TOO! WE CAN LISTEN TO RECORDS AND HAVE LIVE ENTERTAINMENT TOO! I LIVE IN NORTH WEST GEORGIA,DON'T KNOW HOW CENTUARRALLY LOCATED THAT WOULD BE FOR ALL US "BEATLE FREAKS" THOUGH! WISH I HAD A MAGICAL MYSTERY PLANE THAT COULD FLY ALL HERE!! MY HOUSE IS NOT REAL BIG ,BUT WE GOT A BIG YARD AND COULD PUT UP A TENT THERE! The British Beatles Fan Club and Beatles Coffee Shop in London have an all day event planned on Aug 8th in London.
A tour of Beatle sites during the morning followed by a recreation of the Abbey Road crossing cover at 11.20 (40 years to the minute of the original photo).
Tony Bramwell, a Beatle aide who worked for Brian Epstein will be signing his book at the Coffee Shop just around from Abbey Rd ar 12pm.
In the evening there is a gig at Peter Parkers club with a Beatle tribute band. Also hope to have the Beatles hairdresser there as well

There will be a great Beatles fan party in Stamford, CT on November 28th and 29th. It's called BEATexpo 2009. Check out http://www.toursandevents.com/BEATexpo.htm or phone (203) 795-4737.

Also, there is a Tribute to George Harrison Benefit in Westport, MA on February 20th - proceeds go to charity. This event includes several Beatles cover bands and is really a fun night.
