Can't say as I have a favorite. I really like the early traditional blues, acoustic stuff like Robert Johnson, Robert Lockwood Jr., and many others. But if it's blues, my ears perk up.

SRV with out question. Because of him I've been playing blues for the past 20 years and been with the same blues band (Big Willy and the Wing Tips) for the past 17 years. Check us out on MySpace.(www.myspace.com/bigwillyandthewingtips) Not to mention all the other great blues artist he has led me to find. As Willie Dixon once said-"Blues is the Roots, and all else is the fruits"

Hard to beat John Lee's foot stomping, but appreciate most traditional delta / hill country blues (Furry Lewis, Robert Belfour, the "pre-gospel" Slick Ballinger).

WHO MY FAVORITE BLUES MUSICIAN IS DEPENDS ON HOW I AM FEELING ON A PARTICULAR DAY. SOMETIMES A LITTLE UPTOWN SWINGY-T-BONE WALKER, SOMETIMES A LITTLE COUNTRIFIED-GATEMOUTH BROWN. MUDDY IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE, BUT WHEN I WANT TO HEAR WHERE SRV GOT HIS LICKS, I LISTEN TO THE GREAT ALBERT KING. AND HEY, HOWLIN' WOLF IS ALWAYS 300LBS OF JOY.

I have many so here's a few - Jeff Healey unfortunately he just passed away last month, but I love his music. New CD comes out later this month in USA; Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers, Mark Stutso, Arlo West, Jeremy King

Well, there are many actually, but mostly listen to; Albert Collins, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush & Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Blues-jazz tunes like "scrapple from the apple", "relaxin' at camarillo", "billie's bounce" etc. from older jazz records (Charlie Parker, Wes, Joe Pass) are also great listening - depends on my mood.

Thumbs up to the guy who said Eddie Taylor. Another guy who doesn't get nearly enough props is Brewer Phillips.
