My power trim works great, raises motor no problem but within 5 minutes the motors go back down. Does this mean the pump is bad? Or do I need to add hydraulic fluid? If so can anyone tell me how to add the fluid?
If the manual valve (screw on the side)is closed and this keeps happening, the internal check valve is not operating properly. It is not worth the expense of fixing and will not affect the rest of the trim. Just use a block of wood. . .
