I'd say my favorite characters are Giles and Spike. I mean, Spike is awesome even when he doesn't have a soul. Spike is even in love when he doesn't have a soul. He's very diverse and is one of the most realistic characters on the show. Giles is like a dad to everyone. Yes, mostly to Buffy, but he still cares for everyone. Like when Willow needs help gaining control of her powers after she goes evil. I would love to have a dad like him.
