Those of you who follow my complaining about people spamming us here also know I do not mind posts to sell cat related products. My point is not to spam us with unrelated items and by people who pop in here ONLY to do that. I like to think of this neighborhood as a safe haven for cat lovers where we can chat about topics that will be of interest to most or all of us.
In the past I have posted a few messages for items I am selling. I have done it 2 times for feline medical/health related products and 2 times when I put up 100% charity auctions for cat related products. Between yesterday and today I listed 3 new 100% charity auctions, the winning bid going to 3 different animal charities. I believe they are Kitty Keepers in Montana, Save-A-Pet in Illinois and Alley Cat Allies based in Maryland but a national charity. These are all wonderful charities and being the items for auction are cat related and being sold for charity (yup, I will not get a penny of the money. The sales are through eBay giving works/Missionfish so they have the official banner from eBay as a legit 100% charity auction) I decided to let you know about them.
2 of the auctions are for a brand new Veterinary Ventures Big Dog pet fountain and one is for a Cat Dancer Mouse in the House programmable cat toy. The listings are 10 day listings (extra time in hopes of more bids). If you need a pet fountain or want a great toy for your cat, consider these auctions. Remember they are 100% charity and for a great cause!

Over the last couple of days at least 2 of the members here have told me they either have or had a blind cat. One of the charities I like to help is Blind Cat rescue. So in honor of the members who have or had blind cats, I just made a new 100% Charity auction with the proceeds going to Blind Cat Rescue. The item for auction is a BLUE Turbo Scratcher. If you are unsure what that cat toy is, go to the listing and take a look. Make sure you click on the link in the listing nav (just below the cat laying over it) link titled "We Use It" and you can see our cat Andromeda playing with one of her Turbo Scratchers. It is a GREAT toy and our cats love it.

I just listed a new 100% Charity Auction! This one is for a K&H Thermo Kitty Cabin (It is a heated bed like item) for your cats! It is great if you have an elder cat as well! Bidding starts at $9.99 for this great item and 100% of the winning bid is taken by eBay giving works/Mission Fish and it goes to the charity listed in the listing.
You are doing a great thing David! A few weeks ago I bid on the heated cat bed but was not the final winner (under my buying id). I think it is great that you are doing this for cats that really need the help! I am going to have another look because my four kitties are spoiled ROTTEN!!

I have more Thermo Beds (cups, mats, cabins and such) I'll be 100% Charity auctioning off in the coming months, and a couple more fountains and some toys as well. I wanted to put a couple up yesterday or today, but I have been just so busy the time slipped past before I did. I hope to list more this week and when I do I'll post to this thread again. Using the one thread is my way to not have a bunch of selling spams on the board, though they are for cats. :)
Hi all! Now that I am over the flu I carried for almost 2 months, I am starting to list 100% CHARITY auctions again!
I put up 2 brand new K&H Thermo Kitty Huts today. These are great for older cats or if you live in a cool place. And 100% of the money goes to the charity listed in each auction!
So bid often and bid what you can afford! The money will be going to help care for cats and dogs at the Best Friends Sanctuary in Utah and Save-A-Pet in Illinois!

Hi all. In trying to not add more "spam" in separate posts, I am adding to this older post. :) I put up 3 Christmas Ornaments for auction. Each is a charity auction. 2 of them are 100% charity and one is 50%. The ornaments are from Big Sky Carvers and are of an Angel Cat, Seal and Gingerbread man and Bear. All charity money raised will go to help animals!
