...Try asking a cat to chase off an intruder! ... oh wait, according to Reader's Digest, this happened a couple years ago! Someone awoke to an awful racket downstairs and found the back patio door open. While being interviewed by the responding officer, the homeowner noticed the old, blind cat sitting on her usual perch, high on a cat tree, beside the patio door... looking very self satisfied while grooming her paws.

Only a few minutes later, a suspect was arrested a few blocks away, with his face scratched to shreds! Apparently Kitty had leapt on the intruder in the night, guided by scent and sound, and clawed the doo-doo out of him in the dark!
