hi everyone! does anyone have experience with cats and hanging baskets? i recently got several beautiful fake plants but now i worry my 2 inside cats/gardeners might try to climb into them (especially when i am not home) and i am concerned about them either pulling it down or getting tangled in the chains/ropes. i tried to make sure the plants are out of their reasonable reach but am aware of their amazing flying/leaping capabilities. has this been a problem for anyone here?

All of my indoor plants are fake, too. I had to get rid of the hearth basket with live plants because two cats decided it was really a litter box! I have faux plants everywhere else and they don't seem to bother them. If you are really worried, maybe you should put them on the ground so the kitties can check them out and decide there is nothing worth fooling with. Once the novelty wears off, and the cats ignore the plants, then hang them back up.

My cats have never paid any attention to my fake hanging baskets. I don't see a problem. Real plants are a problem - they like to curl up in the dirt around the plant.
