The most useful cat product on the planet is SoftPaws. These are plastic caps that get glued on to a kitty's claws.
No more ruining furniture, screens, etc. Greatest invention ever! Kitties don't mind them after a few hours. There is some prep; claws need to be trimmed to a certain length as not to interfere with the "cuticle."
