Hi, My name is Allison. I am new to the whole neighborhood thing, have been on E-baY awhile bu I don;t know I just did my auctions,Anyway, I have 3 cats- sometimes 4. I will explain the 4th in a minute. All of my cats too are rescues. First we found Thompson down a hole at a construction site. The two black and whites came from a shelter and a friend. The fourth kitty is Teddy. He was my Nana's. Now all of the cats are boys, Teddy wast he fourth to add to the brood. He is the biggest of them all and the sweetest too. The other cats did not know what to make of Teddy. I know for sure Brookefield was jusy plain old jealous. In any case they were not nice to him. So he comes and goes. The first time he left I scourd the all of the shelters and the went knocking on my neighbors doors all to no avail. Next day he just showed up, completely non plussed about my frantic search. He has been gone about 2 months now and I am worried. He has a collar with his name on it. If he does come back I am going to get him microchipped. I don't want any leactures about my cats being indorr outdoor either. They come in every night and generally stay in the yard, except Teddy. I wonder where he is? Crazy cat....
Hey, Allison! Welcome to Cats! All of our eight boys are rescues, also. We considered adopting Number 9 Ernie, as an outdoor cat because there simply wasn't room for another one indoors. We are out in the country in Georgia, so the weather is good pretty much all year long. Also, we are away from the street so there is less chance of interaction with cars. Welcome to the Neighborhood!
