Hi, I live in Rdmonton Alberta Canada and I recently purchased a Resto, #’s car, completely original, 1980 Camaro Z28 Convertible in excellent condition. I bought it because I thought it would be an interesting project mainly because I’ve only seen 2 in my life time and I’m 48 years old. I owned a 1981 Z28, which I purchased new, so this car brought back some good memories. There is not a lot of info on these cars. I was hoping someone else out there might be able to shed some light on this subject. If you have any info such as rarity, desirability, value (restored & unrestored), etc. that you are willing to share or to me or direct me to, would be greatly appreciated.
Useful Funny
Restored a lot of Camaro's and in my research I have never heard of a convertible Z-28. As far as information goes you are limited to factory manuals which can be found on E-Bay.

There were a bunch of companies that were converting the 79-81 F-bodies. Do you know who built it? Look for a label in the door jamb. If it's an NCE car, then it has a metal oval in the passengers door jamb with a serial number. Let us know what you find.
