WARNING. The Canadian site "Lemonfree.com" appears to have stolen my aol screename and someone is now trying to sell drugs from Canada using my email screename. I am all but certain that this happened after I sgned up for their alerts for cars. I advise that everyone avoid these scammers.
I'm sorry that someone is masquerading as you with your AOL screen name.
I’m not sure how that would have happened but I can assure you that it was not lemonfree.com.
As the General Manager of Lemonfree.com I hate SPAM as much as anyone. My SPAM folder gets about 12,000 SPAM emails a month, I'm not sure if this is the same volume that you're getting but I think I understand how inconvenient it is.
Lemonfree.com did not give your AOL screen name away to a spammer or use it to pretend to be you.
We do not now, have ever, or will ever sell or give away an email address list or Instant Messenger screen names.
I have been contacted by the gm of Lemonfree.com who assures me that they are not involved in this scam. If this is the case I apologize for the posting. I have tried to remove it without success. In the past I have been able to edit/delete postings, perhaps this is not possible once a reply has been sent. I will inquire with ebay regarding this. I advise all to be very careful with giving out or signing up for anything with their primary or special email address as you may become a victim like myself.
