I have a truck that I put on a blazer chassy with a 350 motor . When I hook up my vacumn wipers the engine run bad . I am hooking them up to the back of the carb any suggestions where else I could hook them up to .Rex
just a guess but try a port off of the intake, like the one used for the brake booster. it might take so much vacuum to run the wipes it makes the carb not get enough vacuum to pull in fuel
I had problem with my 52' ... May want to check all vacuum from carb... May have to plug a line, but check...Should have two points to hook from... Due a "Test", while engine running to check idle...Good luck ! ( Also, can put a split connector if needed, in primary)
I'm guessing it runs ok when off-idle?? might gain just a bit by installing a good size vacuum reservoir ball ( 2 port type ) like the ones used in helping to maintain vac to the a/c + heater doors
