Hi.To get the show on the road let's start by letting every one know what year chevy pickup you own. I own a 68' c10, with an 8ft fleetside bed. By looking a her you would tell that she is not for show. But she did get me to and from where i needed for two years. and still kicking with a fresh v8 in her. I'l let it go from here.
Hi. Just bought a '69 Custom Camper 20 at police impound auction. She needs minor cosmetic work. Would like to restore as original as possible. Not for show,just for fun. If anyone could help me find out what she is supposed to look like (paint,trim,etc) I would be most greatful!
Hi, I did own a 1993 chey V6/Std trany which I had to give up to keep a roof over my head, three weeks later my social secuity started and could not find a chevy truck to replace the one I had so I found a Dodge 250 ram custom van price was right and needed transportation. Wish I had my chevy truck back this van is killing me when I go to get in it and out of it the seats in the chevy were just right and easy on my back and legs, next one will be a automatic transmission it will be easy on my legs and back life is not the same with out a good chevy pickup.

Ive got a 68 long wheel base C10 that needs some work. i replaced the 6 cyl and three on the tree with a 400 small block and 400 turbo. ive got a 72 GMC Jimmy that i just finished. 4 inch lift built 400 small block infront of a bulldog 4 speed and NP 205 transfer case.
My truck is a 2002 Silverado 1500 Z71 Shorty. 6" CST lift kit, custom built Alcan springs, Weld Racing scorpio V's 16x10, super swampers etc.. Way to much stuff to type out or even remember anymore. It has been an on going little project of mine since I bought it new in '02
i got a 2001 chevy blazer xtreme .. i kno i kno its not a pick up but its still a chevy truck and im a girl so im allowed HAH! anyway back to my truck ... V6 2WC 4.3litre vortec k&n intake flowmaster exhaust (show quality daily driver) 3/4 drop ... mainly stock exterior little engine work yet biggest thing done so far was my 3/4 drop and my system pushing over 2000watts.... yes im a youngin too sooo once again .. im allowed !! lookin to pick up and older blazer or s10 2WD to turn ino a project\daily driver so i can turn my blazer into a full show truck im foudner of girlie girl minitruckin and i love my minitruck cant wait to get another one... anyone have any good ideas of engine upgrades for my xtreme ... im in the mix of doin the HID conversion and shaving the rear and plan on a custom kandy kolor p*rn star pink paint job in the near future... i work for a gm dealer and im running out of ideas of what to do to my truck i want to make it fast im running low 13's with like no mod except for an intake exhaust and trans chip i want it to be fast but not too fast id like to live to see my 24th birthday.... i want to put diff rims on it so i dont destroy my stock ones i like them too much and they are getting ruined due to my control arms.. anybody know where i can find lowered tubular control arms for a decent price for an 01 blazer xtreme... HELP ME im running out of ideas i basically got my interior fully designed and ready to start putting it in so that leaves me with nothing to do but my engine and i dunno what to do to it ... so much time so little money atleast i wont have to pay labor i can do it myself thank god i passed me master tech ase's .. go me!!! anyway anyone got some good ideas let me know.. and i agree with the trailer queen statement if your gunna build a chevy up drive it like u stole it !!!
kudos to the trailer queen comment from GW, i have a 1971 GMC step side super long horn (9' bed) one ton, and man, does it work! i hope to see it completely restored by the time i retire and leave it for the next generation; but for now, it works along with me and i wouldn't trade her for any other partner...
I own a 2004 chevy colorado 3.5 liter vortex motor. Just repainted and put new tires on her. She looks sweet. Runs great but would like to get faster.Where do I look for somebody I can trust to work on my ride.
1997 2500 with towing package. 207,000 miles to date. 350 & 4 speed auto pulls a loaded 16 ft. cargo trailer at 75 mph without a wimper. Previous truck was an '81 C10 with a 350 that I drove for 17 years and 400,000miles. It is still on the road!
i own a 1990 1500 silverado 2wd 305 , a 1995 gmc 2500 ext cab 4x4 350, and a 2004 gmc yukon denali. i do junk removal and recycling and all three trucks earn their keep. but are customized and well cared for.
Right now I have a '97 S10 2WD and a '97 4WD Suburban,both have several mods too them and are driven all the time so not show trucks but still very nice.I just sold my '73 C20 longbed that I had spent the last 5 yrs building.My brother and I have owned and built too many Chevy's in the last 25 yrs to count.
