She said she never received her item. After several emails back and forth I told her I would refund her half of what she paid for it minus shipping charges because she was offered insurance on it and declined it. She turned in a dispute with Paypal and after going back and forth through the resolution process and pointing out in the emails that she lied about this being the ONLY item she HASN"T received from Ebay (she told me previously that she was getting discouraged because this was the 2nd time a package has been lost). Needless to say, The only option Paypal is giving me at this point is to refund the total or provide proof I shipped it. I don't have a delivery con. receipt. Basically it's her word against mine and I have a very good track record and have been selling a few years now. Why doesn't Paypal or Ebay stand behind their sellers? Is there anyone else out there that doesn't think this is fair?
sorry to hear bout your woes, paypal will stand by you if u have your proof of delivery! if not htey stand by the buyers. its not fair to both sellers and buyers. there are many sellers out there that will screw u good as a buyer. and vice versa. so whats fair to one may not be to other. always keep your proof of delivery receipt, is all i can say to you.
A truer statement couldn't be made by the first reply didn't get a name. You also have to keep in mind that the buyer is at the mercy of the seller. Example I recently won an item and for 10 days the dude was telling me to give him time to do this and do that by rights after 10 days a dispute can be made. didn't supply me with a tracking number until the 9th day and tracking didn't start till the 11th day. but we'er exspected as a whole to pay as soon as we win... So I had to wait close to or over to weeks for a item I paid for the min. I won... So it can go either way
