Please don't laugh at me. I am new to this and I have a ____ question. What is the proper way to mail coins, mainly single coins. Thanks for the help and just laugh to yourself ok>
Useful Funny
I would buy a small bubble-wrapped layered mailer. I think they cost $.50. I would wrap the coin(s) in a thin layer of bubble wrap or thicker paper, stick in the mailer and off it goes. I'm sure some would do it differently, but I would never use a regular enevelope. I HAVE received coins that way, but it's super risky and unprofessional IMHO.

Oh yeah. I didn't laugh. Not even to myself. None of us here mind questions or askings of advice. We only hope to see more people posting, asking questions and making statements. Welcome abroad!

Hi signstimes; When I mail coins to some person, I put them into a 2x2, then into a card board, then into a bubble wrap envelope, that way they have very little chance of being damaged during the shipping process, I have shipped a lot of coin this way and never had a single one damaged, you can get the bubble wrap envelopes very cheaply at any dollar store, and also let me say welcome aboard, you will have a lot of fun on ebay and also meet some VERY! nice people..also a word to the wise be careful of whom you deal with when buying or selling Check out their feedback closely.

For only a few coins in holders I use a bubble wrap and wrap the coins in cardboard. If I have to mail a lot of coins
I use a small box .

i have recieved coins in a small envelope loose with a smilly face sticker holding it together.
I DON"T recomend this.

I have a small digital postal scale, after weighing the coin i use paypal postage to print out the mailing address and postage. i afix the coin in a 2x2 to a piece of paper with tape then put it in the mailer. when afixing the paper postage don't tape over the bar code.

paypal cost's a few cents more but it's tracked and gauranteed not to mention easier. no trips to the post office.

Car is right about sending in envelopes, it looks very unprofesional.
