Bought a Fake MAC Brush?

Soo....I am especially careful when buying MAC on ebay however, I bought a brush recently that I think might be fake. All the signs of a fake brush were not present-it had a solid black handle and came in original packaging. However, when I washed it today, my brush cleaner turned black and now the bush smells like a rabbits foot. What do I do? Eat the money for it or request a refund from the seller, even though I bought it a month ago? HELP!

wow thats probably a real pain in the ass!
how much did you spend on it!?
MAC brushes are usually really expensive!

i guess you should contact the seller, and next time possibly rinse your brushes before their first use, just for sanitary reasons so you'd be better off in a situation like this, and if you feel the seller sells fakes, simply report them; they should be ashamed of their existence!

good luck!

Oh great! I got some last month too! I didnt like them, I dont know if its cause they arent "broken in" or what? But Im almost positive they are fake. They have Japan stamped at the end? ... I really havent been using the powder brush, i just dont like it, and the big foundation brush doesnt blend, it leaves streaks on my face!... I only use the eyeshadow brushes and they seem to be ok, im just worried about washing them now! Do you remember who sold them to you?
