I have a few theories on this subject. One reason that I commonly here is people don't like the twang in some country singers voice, more or less their country draw, a good example of this is Randy Travis. Another reason I have heard is you have those people (mailny guys I find) that their parents forced them to listen to country as a child and they develop a resentment for it. There ya go!

I love this question, and you know, there are actually more Ebayers out there that love country music as much as we do! They are just hard to find. And, places like the 'Country Music Neighborhood' is a great place to start! Also, if we could find, or start, different 'country music' Groups, that'd be an even better way to find the millions of country music fans that visit Ebay on a regular basis. If you are a Seller, as we primarily are(but we can't stand to pass up the great bargains here either! LOL.), then try to find out what your customers' interests are, and don't leave your customer after that first sale. Contact them, and let them know how much you appreciate them, and KEEP the line of communication open as to 'get to know' one another. I think that'd be great! Go to Nashville - downtown - June 11-12 or so. Tens of thousands of fans from all over the world for a festival through the 14th. MANY like country! :-)
I hate country. I live in michigan kinda close to detroit. People in michigan love eather country or rap. I guess thats why we have kid rock.(hate him) I listen to (real not the radio crap.) punk & indie rock. Country music makes me think of inbreed white trash that love nascar. When I was younger we use to go up to the country bars and kick the crap out of people in the parking lot. (we figured it was fair because the cops were doing it at some of the punk shows.)
