Hello to you "Hookers" out there...pardon the pun...One of the things I'd like to talk about is items I believe are quite overlooked in general..you know there are lot's of small items that people out there still enjoy having and will still purchase..Slippers are good..the best ones are the warm styles, not so much fancy but practical..So many of us are getting to those years where we like comfort more than style..am I wrong? Hanging towels are still very popular and easy to make..Lap robes..Warm hats, I've had some success with dog sweaters...So what are your ideas? Baby stuff? Kid Stuff?
Don't be shy as you are among friends..Love to hear from you....Joyce

Hey Joyce -
Because I don't have time to make stuff, I can't suggest anything to sell EXCEPT the cool stuff I've got in the books.
My suggestions for warm small things would be socks & dog sweaters. I only have one quick & easy dog sweater pattern, and I've made it both for my own small dog and for the local no-kill shelter.
I think kids stuffed animals might work too.

I too am going to be going through my patterns stash. I've acquired many patterns myself (that I'm still keeping) from e-bay because they are exactly what I was looking for. I look forward to seeing your work!

Good morning DeAndra,
Thanks for your comments and shared ideas..Yes the kid's stuffed animals are a good one..I've made my share of those..I have never made socks but there are some easy crochet patterns out now and the dog sweaters which will work for cats also..Have you seen the darling kids afghans out now? Trouble with me is I want to make everything..Ha..I found this pattern in thread for these cute little mice which I'm in the middle of making..You can hang them in your Xmas tree or anywhere I suppose..If any come out ok I'll try posting some....One thing nice about being retired I have so much time to play with my crochet....Hey come by anytime and have some coffee or tea....Joyce

Here's an idea for selling something - purses.
Has anyone tried to sell purses? Giving away purses to my friends myself, I know the handles could get expensive but they are all usually unique and very popular.
I have a "bug bag" pattern that someone could sell if they ventured to do so. Personally, I would change the eyes on the bag, but that's me.

Have fun everyone!
