Former ‘L Word’ actress hits Vegas TV Guide reports that Lauren Lee Smith will be pseudo-replacing Jorja Fox, who played Sara Sidle on the hit show CSI.
Smith appeared on The L Word and was a regular on Mutant X.
She will play Bryce Adams, a witty and flirty non-conformist. I’m pretty sure no one on CSI has ever been a conformist.
Executive producers Carol Mendelsohn and Naren Shankar originally wanted to cast Battlestar Galactica's Katee Sackhoff for the role of Bryce.
But Sackhoff wasn’t able to convince CBS execs that she was right for the part during a reading for the role.
But have hope, Sara fans – while guest co-hosting on The View last year, Fox said she believed that her character would be back someday.
Fox also said that she wanted time to breathe and look around, but she still found the decision to leave CSI as “the hardest decision I ever made.”
Considering the on-and-off traits Sara demonstrated on the show, I wouldn’t be surprised
