Im cpman101's son and when I grow up I watched and still watch NASCAR every race. I'm in 8th grade and did a big project on Dale Sr. and watched his death and cried because he was my idol I want to know how you guys felt when he died.
I felt like the world STOPPED! I had watched and cheered for Dale for over 20 years. I cried tears of Joy when he finally won Daytona in 98. I cried tears of unbelievable grief when he died at Daytona in 2001. You say he was your idol? There is no reason that he can not still be your idol. Live as he lived. Be honest, and caring. This is what will carry his legacy on. Never forget who the Intimidator was and what he stood for. You will go far in this life.
