I purchased an Inspiron B130 laptop in 2006. I had it about six months when the battery went out. I purchased a new battery and a new power adapter, but I still get no power. Now I'm being told I probably need a new motherboard. First of all, does anyone know about how much it would cost to get a new motherboard? Secondly, does anyone think it's worth it to get it fixed or should I just buy a new laptop?
They are relatively easy to repair, but the problem is too many shops do not do electronics repair, or charge too much. That problem is usually fixed for $100-$110. Too bad I cannot sell, post HTML or show pics. I could show from the various nightmares I have had from DELL.
