I stopped by my local Dealer and was informed that the purchase price of the 2008 Challenger was $10k non-refundable down and a purchase price of $55k for the one they were going to get in stock. The sticker price of this car will be somewhere between 40,100 and 42,000. I say somewhere inbetween because they did not know any details about the car they were getting! For that much $$ I will go back to getting an original 1970 that has been restored! I believe this is a rip off by Dodge to us fans. I will remember this when I go get a new car!!

Whenever something "new" is being introduced in limited quantities the price soars. I was at a Dodge dealer yesterday. He is getting 3 Challengers. Two are sold, 10k over sticker and the third will remain in the showroom. This is the hype! All dealers do this. You want to be the first on the block? Write that check partner!!!
