So sorry about your dog. It is such a sad thing to loose your best friend after 14 years. There will come a time when your heart will heal because you have the memories you both made together over the 14 years. Hang on to those. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend Cowboy a few years back, and it literally put me in bed for three days. He and I were inseperable. I also felt I'd never be able to go through that again, but through a strange set of circumstances I ended up with one of his pups without even knowing she was his daughter. Now she and I are best friends :-) I still grieve for Cowboy, even three years later. But the joy Babygirl brings me is amazing.
