we have two dogs that sleep with us every night. Most of the time they are curled up to my back. Sometime one on me and one on my husband. I wouldn't have it any other way. They think they own the house anyhow!
We have four dogs. One is too old to jump up anymore but the other three sleep in bed with us. One is a Lab/Border collie mix, the only "girl" is a Beagle/German Shepherd mix and the third is a Mastiff/Shepherd mix...we had to get a king size bed to make room for everyone!
What do you mean the think they own the house!! They know they do..we let our Sheltie sleep with us, but he only likes it when it is cold...then he sleeps at the side of the bed and jumps off and on all night - makes for a great night's sleep!
We went from a queen to a king bed so that we would have room to stretch. Dazy out boxer sleeps with one of the kids or on the couch, Shorty our beagle/basset sleeps with us. We have no room to stretch. He takes up a good third of the bed. He weighs 70lbs when he is awake about it feels like 300 when he is asleep. When I make my tea to take up to bed he knows it is bed time and races up the stairs so he can pick his spot for the night. Jo
Hi Of Course--they sleep in bed with us and everyone else...They take turns and go from bed to bed during the night. Perhaps two king size beds would do the trick...I wouldn't have it any other way either!! See ya, fluffybarks
Only one wants to sleep on the bed with us.....the BIG ONE! All 98 pounds of him. If he should drape any part of his body over ours in the night, we wake up thinking we are paralyzed, as we are unable to move! And he sleeps in the middle, which makes the blankets all pull into the valley he has created, so at times we wake up both paralyzed AND half frozen!
I have two dogs, one, The Boston Terrier, Katie, sleeps with me. I would challenge anyone to find a human or dog who snores louder than her! My other dog, Jane, is a Hound mix I got from the pound. She prefers to sleep in her own Lazy Boy. I cringe at what people must think about how spoiled they are. In fact, Jane, doesn't even know how to sit on the floor. She gets utterly confused if all the seats are taken. She will stand and look at everybody like we are crazy for taking a chair from her. I love them both though. Sarah
My two little guys (yorkie-poo and bichon-poo) always sleep with me. What's worse, my enormous black lab-great dane grand-dog cuddles right up when he stays over. Now that's a sight! -Debbie
Isn't that why they make spritzer sprays for dogs? LOL
Hi everyone. Yes we too let our baby dawg sleep with us. His name is Mac and he's about 16 lbs. He starts out sleeping on daddy's side and Chloe, our cat, sleeps on my side. Mac usually ends up in the middle before the night is over.
I have 4 dogs and fortunately a queen size bed! 2 of them sleep with me. Max is 115lbs and Sadie is 85lbs so they let me have the edge.Teddy is 125lbs and sleeps on the floor at the foot and Boo Bahs is 55lbs and sleeps on the floor right where I have to get into the bed so sometimes just getting to the bed is quite an obstacle course. Then of course I have to try and cover up--but that's another story!!! lol
My Yorkie, Ellie always sleeps with me. She know when it's bedtime and will let me know. She has to sleep under the covers right next to me. If I move in the night and we're not touching, she'll get up and do her circles and lay back down so we are. I think she feels more secure. It's so sweet!
