I have a chihuahua, 1 year old, yesterday evening I left money in my living room table and guess what she ate them. My question, is it dangerous, might she get sick because of that? thanks!!!!!

Hope your dog is ok. It is really important to take her to the vet especially if she ate a penny. Pennies made from the 1980s to today contain zinc, which can cause kidney failure and damage to red blood cells. A dog that consumes even one penny can become quite sick, or even die, if the penny is not removed. Please let us know if your dog is ok.
