Isis Rose reminds us of Flower, of Merekat Manor. It was very sad for all of us when she died. Isis still acts like a merekat though!!!!!! Lucius is our own Eyore! Maximus is a little Sherlock Holmes Isadora.....Gladys Kravitz.....loud, nosey and bossy! All 4 lbs of her!!!!!!!!!!
I know it!!!!!! Maximus is always in the yard on patrol. He either thinks he is the greatest hunter ever (leaves and squirrels) or he is looking for clues....... Lucius just always looks like an Eyore......woe is me. and the girls, enough said already!!!
Kenny was easy for me to describe. I have actually had to think about our other two dogs. I would say that kelly seriously reminds me of Mother Theresa. She is loving, always putting others first, quiet, never demanding.
And Lindsay...she reminds me of Judge Judy. Very strong personality. In charge of her courtroom at all times....if you don't like it, lump it!! Even grumpy sometimes.
So, in effect, we have Kenny the clown, Kelly the sweet and Lindsay the boss...
With eight of them, I'll have to put some serious thought into this and get back to you.... It is a great discussion topic, we need a little more fun stuff here. We are all seriously passionate about animals.
After reading "Pet Rules" I am reminded of all the little things that Alli does that I just accept as Alli'isms!! Hmmmm, my immediate response would be Paris Hilton...simply because Alli is the princess of taking over a room/bed/person/and pretty much anything around her. If she doesn't get the immediate attention she "deserves", she will take it!!! Now please know, PH is not my favorite celebrity...but what solidifies this for me...Alli always carries a stuffed dog around with her all the time!! She puts it down long enough to pick up her ball.
I would say Roxie reminds me of Gidget in a way, with her bumbling personality, jumping to and fro and sweet disposition (and she's mischevious at times!). (O.k., am I dating myself here....please tell me people out there know who Gidget is! LOL)
First of all, Allison, I remember Gidget Sandra Dee and Sally Field. Oops!
Now to the point, Sampson if either the little red hen or Speedy Gonzales! and Onika - Princess Grace, who else? Sampson is busy, busy, busy all the time and Onika just quietly asserts her wants into your daily life, while looking precious and sweet, but don't get her riled!
ROTFLMBO! This is Shylo to a tee! She has her own tug toys and is very good about letting us play with her, but.....when she grabs something she KNOWS she's not supposed to have (like one of our shoes), she gets her haunches up, front down and gives a playful growl and shakes her head. If you try to get it, she takes off running just like the gingerbread man!!

Elke reminds us of the fairy tale The Princess & the Pea. She is so funny when everything has be be just so and if there would be a pea under the mattress, she will find it. Also, Goldilocks because the food is too hot or too cold and the bed is to hard or too soft, Everything has to be just right. She is so fussy and likes everything clean and orderly so she can mess it up and fix it the way she likes it. I remember Sally Field and Sandra Dee also. LOL I love the Gladys Kravitz, all 4 lbs. of her. I can relate.
Well I have 3 Peke's so I will start with the oldest Biffy, who is 12. His favorite walk now that he is older is to the kitchen for food. But he has such beautiful markings and hair it makes him regal so he is the King. Rocky and Katie are from the same litter, and I call Rocky my blonde child, he is always in trouble, loves to dig up the yard especially at the fence trying to get to the dogs behind us. He always is running and hates to stay in the house. He wants all the attention and will do anything to get it. So he is my Energizer Bunny. Now Katie who is as active as her brother, but she is more of a little lady. She has to smell everything several times before she eats it. I sometimes call her smell girl. She is not as pretty as her brother and her teeth are more noticeable. But she is the best one at the Vet's as she just sits there. It takes 2 vet assistants to hold Rocky. So Katie is Bucky Beaver because of her teeth.
Describing my Doc is easy. . . Scooby Doo! He is a 90 lb. blue & rust doberman that thinks he's human! From sitting on the couch, and yes I mean backing up and setting only his rump on the couch, to thinking he is a baby and wants to lay in your lap! He may not be able to vocalize his words but with his expressions and demeanor he gets his point across.
