Who can fix a talking doll?

Hello. I have a '69 Ideal Betty Big Girl. She walks great but does not talk. Someone told me she may need a new band to make the wheel inside her turn. I took her apart, but I have no idea what I'm looking at. Does anyone know anything about these dolls, or where I can take her to get fixed? Any help is greatly appreciated.

There seem to be quite a few repair websites. Use "betty-big-girl repair" in a google search and find several

These dolls used a dual system drive. What you may need to do is find the wheel that drives the talk box and use somrthing as simple as a rubber band to to make her perform as she should.Otherwise the "talk box" just may need cleaning or a tinny little bit of sewing machine oil to make it move again
