Okay, I couldn't resist looking these auctions up...lol I looked at all of these and all of these are authentic. I know this because I have had my nose into Dooney & Bourke brand for so many years, and owned and looked at so many different styles. They all are right, being the styles are right, and the interiors that you can see are right. Fakes to me have such a fake look to them, but of course if you don't know the brand I guess it would be hard. My first clue is when I see a fake in a style Dooney & Bourke never made. I looked up a bunch of fake auctions to show you, but for some reason when I add them, it keeps telling me to use valid auction numbers which I did. I did find something new in the fakes however, and this was seeing a brown dust bag! Stay away from Brown and white dust bags....Look at this auction: 230257477955. This auction is a perfect example of what Dooney & Bourke is NOT. The style however would be close to something they make, but everything else is wrong. Brown dust bag, Signature satin lining, Look at the front leather patch with the oversized writing, The handle is wrong...most likely it isnt even genuine leather and more like vinyl. Watch out for bags that have solid braided handles, watch out for large antiqued brass plates in swirly looking and rounded corners...watch out for bags that look like a large horse shoe shape leather? trim with a hangy tassel thing off the front bottom...It kills me to see these bags getting bids everyday.
