Hi, Does anyone know where I might get a useable/functional Durabuilt 140? This is the improved 140 with hydraulic lifters etc. that came in the 1976 Chevy Vega. I also am wondering if the "Iron Duke" 4 cylinder that came out in the 1977 Pontiac Astre could be used in a 1976 Vega without having to change much if anything. I know you guys will probably mark this one as funny, but I am serious and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Allen.
yes it will work just fine back in the day the boys at the local dirt track ran the iron duke in Vegas they ran very good. i preferred the 2.0 pinto because of the factory solid lifters.
