I really want more power and speed. My car looks amazing because i have done so many things to the outside like replace things and add things but i just want it to run like a V8 beacuase i have already made it sound good by addind some dual-exhaust 80-series flowmasters on it but it just doesnt run the way i want. can i put a v8 in it or get one built to put in it? or do i need to just go ahead and but a crappy v8 formula or t/a and fix it up?
you should have no problem putting a v8 into your car it is basicly plug and play easiest way is tou get another same year car with v8 and unhook motor and trans from body ie: unplug all wiring connections remove and save computer to reinstall into your car discharge ac and dis connect remove drive line and unhook shifter, unhook exhaust and all remaining connection and if you are using lift than lift body off the motor/trans/kmember assembly and roll out from under body and remove and repeat with motor and trans in your car based on condition of your car this may be cheaper than recon of a trans am of formula of same year also with the v6 there is less stress on you r cars chassis and suspenion also rear end and so forth also not if your are motivaded I would recommend to switch the kmembers out just so you have the less abused suspension compnents ITS A LOT OF WORK BUT IF YOUR BODY ON YOUR CAR IS WORTH IT GO FOR IT AND GOOD LUCK !!!
