Meet 'The Old Girl'. She's a 1936 Ford fire truck owned by the Wallingford Volunteer Fire Department in Wallingford, Vermont. She was purchased new by the WVFD in 1937. She is the pride of the WVFD and depends on donations for her maintenance and preservation. See my About Me page to learn more about 'The Old Girl'. I recently joined the WVFD's auxiliary and have made it my mission to help 'The Old Girl' and the volunteers who care for her. I've included some photos of 'The Old Girl' here for your enjoyment. We are looking for some authentic parts for this wonderful classic beauty to use in her restoration. Thanks for stopping by.
Useful Funny
Best thing for "The Old Gal" is to let her see some action. Be cool to see a crew of geezer firefighters pull up to a fire on a 36 Ford. :o) Ripley
