Dear Fishing Neighborhood Members,

Chuck Gros, president of Pavati Marine, had an idea a few years ago while taking his grandpa on a float down river.

Grampa was getting to the point where he couldn't get in the boat anymore. "Why don't they put doors in these boats?" he said.

When Chuck decided to build drift boats, this was one of the first things he designed. "I want everyone, young, old, or disabled to enjoy the fun and adventure of riding in a drift boat." says Chuck.

You may have some new ideas as well that you think will make fishing on a drift boat more fun?

Thanks!

Was at the website and checked out this boat. A drift boat is not really my style of boat but the door feature was very interesting. this would be a nice option on other boats such as jon boats and bass boat. It definetly would give people who have difficulty getting in and out of other boats a better chance to enjoy some time fishing.

Thats one good looking boat. Nice lines, pretty work. I'm a deep sea fishing guide but boats are boats and that one looks like it can get the job done. The way the bow is cut and flared it looks dry and fast.

I like the idea of having a tuna door on a small boat.

I would Rinoline the inside to cut out almost all of the "boat noise". It would give more traction to the deck and cut down on sun glare.
