I've started adding to my stock 351 cleveland. 1. new more aggressive cam, for better low end performance 2. lifters and push rods to match Should I get a new intake? Headers? Exhaust?
From years of experience of working on hot rods & muscle cars the first thing you want to do is match your parts. If you put a cam in it you should put INTAKE,EXHAUT,CARB,ETC.to make engine breath better.when I did my 1966 mustang everything from the rear ,transmission, engine all match to get the best performance a good performance shop will help you .when I told my performance shop that I wanted to have 4.10 gears in my rear they told me what trans & engine upgrades I should make and now I have 467 HP at the rear wheels and 10.46 in quarter mile
