Lookin for expert advice. I've got a 1977 LTD, 302ci, V8, AT, C4 tranny. I'm told that any C4 will bolt up to a small block with correct bell housing. I have a Ford Parts CD that shows everything but a regular LTD. (i.e.LTD II, Maverick, Granada, Pinto) from 73-79. I've got at least three different part #'s for a C4 tranny. Please help! Don't want new one, just a smooth shifting used one w/ converter. She's starting to slip some in low gears and shifting late. Need honest merchant, I've got mechanic.
