I really like the front end of the new mustang, I reminds me of the 70's front end. I think, though that I would rather have a 2005 up GT but with a six cylinder's front facia.

The 05-09 Mustangs are great and the 2010 is spot-on. Reminds me of the '68 Shelby up front. Body styling carried over from the classics is always good. Never really liked the 99-04's that much but if someone dropped an '04 Cobra in my driveway......Unfortunately, I've never driven anything other than my '66 Mustang coupe, had it since '98, and in the process of resto-modding it now. Maybe I could rent one for a day! :-)

The one thing I would like to see changed is, drop the live axle and go with an Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). This is something that in my opinion, Ford should have done decades ago. Change all models to IRS, and then beef up the Cobra models IRS for track/road racing. That's where this car belongs - on the road course! If I had the $$$ I'd drop an after-market IRS into my '66. With the already solid body on the 05's and on up, it seems a shame not have an IRS.

This is WAY off topic but, but I've heard that Ford is supporting the "Climate Change" idea that humans are destroying the earth and we're all going to die if we don't save the planet. Protecting the environment is something we should all work for, but don't do it at the consumer's expense. If people are carbon-taxed into oblivion, then they won't have the money to buy Ford Mustangs.

Keep up the good work.

I love the new ridged fenders, interiore, and the horsepower upgrades, but the tail lights and back of the car look awful. I hate to say it, but I hope some aftermarket companies make a kit to replace it. (Cal Customs are you listening ?)

Owned them for over 30 years now. I bought my first one in '77 while I was in High School (a '67 coupe) and have owned Mustangs ever since. Primarily the older models with '67 Fastbacks as my all time favorite.

We finally got our first brand new Mustang in '03 (fully loaded pony package) and absolutely love it. We (including my now grown children) currently have five of them, 2 - '68 coupes, '67 fastback, '97 coupe, and the '03 coupe mentioned above.

Sad to report we were thinking of trading it in for a new one, but with the economy and our mutual apathy towards the '10 model, we are going to wait. Though a customized '05 to '09 is being considered.

Don't fret though, as I will always be a Mustang enthusiast.

PS: My eBay picture is of my son's '67 GT500 clone (not Eleanor) fastback with BB460 and custom 'shaker' ram air setup.
