I am interested in knowing other peoples thoughts on the 25th anniversary GI Joe line. I for one have enjoyed collecting them. Its been tough to find any of them lately. Sounds silly, but Ive always enjoyed hunting for them.
Useful Funny
I can't find them anywhere on foot. Online is a different story.

I like them, the detail most of all. Im not sure how I feel about the no o-ring design though. You can find them here {NC} if you know where to look but they very in price severely...One store...26.99 another 19.99. All I have right now are the Joe 5 pack & the Cobra 5 packs. I saw a 5 pack troop builder online the other day...not sure if Ill pick that one up though. I want the Hooded Cobra Commander...but I havent picked one up yet. The only one I dont like though, is that Leopard outfit Destro....man, Destro WOULD NOT have done himself like that.

I like the new look but I don't like that half of them can not sit in a vehicle properly. Some are too easy to come apart which my 3 year old has proven (one can never be too young to play GI JOE) and lastly...the weapons seem weak compared to what they used to have.

I do like the new line. The detail is great. It's unfortunate that Hasbro is being so stingey in supplying them to the local stores. Most of my purchases have been on-line. E-Bay is a great source for them but some of the seller are 5 cans short of a six pack with regards to the prices they are asking. Why is it that a majority of the listings, list their items as RARE? There are so many auctions for the same items and there are many site outside of E-Bay that carry the same items. If you fellow collectors are looking for other sources for Joe figures, try toyrocket.com. I have purchaes a few things from them. Decent prices, items are in good condition and they have great cust. services. bigbadtoystore.com is another good site.

It's bad enough with Hasbro being so stingy. Worst thing is all the cases at my local big box stores always end up missing before they hit the floor.

I have a hard time finding anything but Cobras near me. My problem with buying online is even when I find a decent price on the figures the shipping is outrageous.
